Conversations in Colour
This collection comprises of products made with textiles which have been hand-folded and hand-dyed with azo-free dyes, using the knowledge of an ancient Japanese tie-dye technique, Itajime Shibori. The process is completely hand-done and cannot be produced by machinery. A conscious effort is made to create prints which are unique thus making the resultant products truly exclusive.

Itajime Blue
The Itajime Blue collection features indigo dyed ensembles, each different from the other. Simply beacuse it is impossible to replicate one. Itajime Shibori (clamp resist dyeing) is an ancient Japanese textile art. The 'shaped resist dyeing' process involves an inherent patterning by manipulating the two-dimensional cloth surface into three-dimensional shapes before compressing them to dye. Itajime shibori cannot be produced by machinery; it can only be created by hand, utilizing numerous labour intensive processes.
Itajime Blue is a contemplative vision that transcends quick trends, cults and hypes. It synergises the traditional clothing of the Orient with the classics of the Occident. Creating a possession for all time for the woman who appreciates luxury and unique appeal. In blues and whites, with hints of shimmer and metal and acid brights as accents.
Itajime Blue, timelessness you can feel.
